Identity Verification (KYC) Policy

1. Why We Verify Identity

FlashProxy B.V. is committed to maintaining a safe and secure platform for all users. As part of our fraud prevention and security efforts, we may require certain users to complete identity verification (Know Your Customer, or "KYC").

2. When Is KYC Required?

You may be asked to complete identity verification in the following situations:

  • When creating a new account (if flagged by our security systems)
  • When making high-value transactions or exhibiting unusual purchase patterns
  • When suspicious activity is detected on your account
  • When a chargeback or payment dispute is filed
  • At FlashProxy's sole discretion to ensure platform integrity

3. What Documents Are Required?

To complete identity verification, you must provide:

  1. Full legal name — as it appears on your government-issued ID
  2. Current residential address
  3. Government-issued photo ID — clear photographs of the front and back. Accepted documents:
    • Passport
    • National identity card
    • Driver's license
  4. Selfie video — a short video of yourself holding the ID document next to your face

4. How to Submit

Email your documents to: contact@flashproxy.io

Use the subject line: "KYC Verification - [Your Username or Account Email]"

Please ensure:

  • All images are clear, legible, and not cropped
  • Your full name and photo are visible on the ID
  • The selfie video clearly shows both your face and the ID document

You will receive a confirmation of receipt within 2 business days.

5. How Your Data Is Protected

  • All KYC documents are stored in encrypted, access-restricted storage within Google Workspace
  • Only authorized FlashProxy personnel can access your documents
  • Documents are deleted from email systems after being transferred to secure storage
  • KYC data is retained for the duration of your account plus 12 months after closure, then permanently deleted
  • We never sell, share, or disclose your identity documents to third parties, except where required by law
  • All verification is performed manually — we do not use automated biometric or facial recognition systems

6. Your Rights Under GDPR

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access your KYC data at any time
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your KYC data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Restrict how we process your data
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Withdraw consent at any time (note: this may result in account suspension if KYC is required)

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@flashproxy.io with the subject line: "GDPR Data Request - [Your Name]"

We will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at https://autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

7. Consequences of Non-Compliance

  • If KYC is not completed within 7 business days of the request, your account may be suspended or terminated
  • Submitting fraudulent, altered, or stolen identity documents will result in permanent account termination and may be reported to law enforcement
